Today, you will create a Haiku, a poem that follows a specific syllabic pattern.  There are five syllables in the first line, seven syllables in the second, and five syllabes in the third, making a total of 17 syllables. The theme of Haiku is typically nature.

Today's project is a bit different. You may write a Haiku about the following subjects:

Books/Reading
Summer

Step One:
Choose your topic

Step Two:
Collect a template and begin to brainstorm words

Step Three:
Write your Haiku

Step Four:
Choose your presentation tool
You can present your Haiku using one of the following technology tools:
