Bowen’s Weekly Family Update
February 15, 2019

Dear Bowen Families,

I enjoyed ending the week together as a school as we head into the break.  The 4th grade led the all school assembly as they shared interesting and fun facts about some Black and African Americans who have made a difference in our lives, including Maya Angelou, Claudette Colvin, Martin Delaney, and Lebron James… to name a few.  Please check out their posters in the front lobby and I hope students share what they have learned with their families. I hope you find time over the next week to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. Thank you for everything you do to help your children develop and grow as learners.  Bowen is a great place to be! Enjoy the weekend, see you next week!
Yours truly,
Lost and Found
When we return from break, please have your child take a look through lost and found.  There is a lot of winter gear that has been collected. We will be donating unclaimed items in March.
Bowen Science Day - Sunday, April 7, 2019
When we get back from break, the PTO will have volunteers visiting all of the classrooms to promote Bowen Science Day by doing an experiment for the kids and sharing information about the event.  The PTO will be sending home more information about registration in the upcoming weeks !
Kindergarten Registration
If you have a child entering kindergarten next September, please call Ms. Megrian in the office to schedule a kindergarten registration/screening appointment for your child.
