Dear Bowen Families,

It has been an exciting week for our school community as we celebrate a successful PTO Spring Fling and a memorable 5th grade performance of Willy Wonka. Both of these events were examples of the importance of parent and family involvement.  Without endless hours dedicated by numerous volunteers, neither event would have been successful.  Even on Friday, students are still excited about this week’s events.  We could not be the great school community we are for students without you!  Thank you!

Yours truly,
Diana & Tiffany

News You Need to Know
Bowen Baggies for Books Update
Thank you SO MUCH for donating to Bowen Baggies for Books.  We raised over $1,300 and ordered some awesome books.  If you did not get a chance to donate to Bowen Baggies for Books we have a great way to honor a teacher, celebrate your child's time at Bowen or just to support reading. The Support our School Library Web site with Bound to Stay Bound bookstore has a wishlist of books we would like to add to the library. Check out the site to see what is on the list.  It will be open until the end of the school year!

Contributions can be made in two ways:
1. Select specific titles from the school wish list. Donor name plates can be customized and inserted in each book selected.
2. Contribute a specific dollar amount and Bound to Stay Bound will select titles from the wish list to fulfill the amount.
To purchase a book or make a general donation click on the “make a donation” button on the top right part of the page.
If you have any questions please email our Library Teacher, Donna Mason, at  Thank you very much!
