Dear Bowen Families,

Happy Friday!  While we’re sure that everyone is WELL aware that today is April Fools’ Day (no major pranks to report here!), you may not have realized that today is also National Sourdough Bread Day and National One Cent Day.  Just a fun little bit of trivia to wrap up yet another busy week...after a month that just flew by!  Normally, March is the “long month” around schools, but it did not feel like it here at Bowen.  And that’s the way we like it--lots of learning, growing, teaching, playing, and connecting with all of the members of our Bowen community!  Thank you for everything you do to make Bowen a great place to be.  We hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Yours truly,
Diana & Tiffany

News You Need to Know
Bowen Science Day
Did you know that there are over 90 projects registered for the first Bowen Science Day?  And that more than 100 Bowen students are involved?  There is going to be a lot of science going on this Sunday, April 3rd from 1:00-4:00 p.m., and it is open to all members of the Bowen community!  We’d love to see you there!

Bowen Baggies for Books - Last Call!
Don’t forget...we have through Monday, April 4th to collect donations toward new books for the Bowen library!  The classroom donating the most money will have the privilege of being the first ones to check out the new books.  However, there’s an incentive for everyone to participate and donate--if Bowen can raise at least $2000, Ms. Mason will dye her hair crimson for the rest of the year!  Will it happen?  Just wait and see...

Next Week at Bowen School...
