* Divorce
* Transitions (grade to grade)
* Organization
* Impulsivity
* Other (those that caretakers, students, or teachers suggest)
* Consultation
* Teacher
* Parent/Caretaker
* Concerns may include
* Any of the above listed in counseling section
* Academic performance
* Homework strategies
* Home routines
* Extra curricular activities
* Camp referrals
* Mental health referrals
* Assistance with community resources
* Sibling challenges
* Other (those that are suggested/needed)
* Urgent responses
* When a child indicates
* Wish to harm herself, someone else, or indicates is being harmed
* Intervention will occur within the same school day, as close to the time as is possible
* Parents/caretakers will be notified immediately
* Parents/caretakers will be provided with a plan of action and/or assisted in finding
community resources
* Teacher Advisory Group (TAG)
* A consultative model where a group of teachers and specialists work together to
develop intervention plans for children in the building who are exhibiting academic,
social, or behavioral needs
* Teachers are supported by a liaison teacher
* Interventions are implemented for 4-6 weeks and then re-evaluated
* Interventions that are helpful are continued and those that are not are modified
* Special Education/504 Evaulations (see special education link)
