Dr. Gold's Role

*  Facilitate, develop, and provide programming, counseling, consultation, assessment, and resources to     the Williams community

*  Increase the well-being, educational performance, and social-emotional development of each child

*  Collaborate with the principal, teachers, parents/caretakers, and each child

*  Provide classroom instruction to facilitate social skill development and acceptance of similiarities   

    and differences

*  Implement small group and/or individual counseling to assist with specific dilemma's and concerns

    or to further solidify skill development

*  Facilitate parent groups

*  Assist in determining if a child has a specific disability and then developing a course of action that   

    will support the child, teacher, and family

*  Participate in city-wide crisis team

*  Lead bully prevention initiative and district point person
